By assisting students at the collegiate, pre-college, and alumni level, NSBE has accomplished more for the Black engineering community than any other organization in the world. Founded in 1978, the USC Chapter of NSBE is an official member organization of the Center for Engineering Diversity (CED), and works closely with SHPE, SWE, MEGA and QuEST to foster unity within the engineering community.
